We assume our senses are guiding us toward what is right in any given moment, but so much is learned, habitual. In our everyday lives, habits can interfere with our ability to move comfortably, listen, learn, or master a new skill. How do we stay open to the demands of each moment and make decisions in real time without falling back into old, unhelpful patterns? The Alexander Technique teaches us to notice these interferences and allow the right thing to present itself. This way, we’re more in harmony with our primary instrument, ourselves.
